Freedom from stress, tension & pain…

April was a month full of challenges and rewards…expansion and growth, very much suited for spring.  I completed the first of 5 sessions towards my final certification as a Yoga Therapist.  The course will span the next 18 months, with a focus on applying Yoga Therapy to both group classes and private sessions.  I am always blown away at the depth of each successive program and the new layer of subtlety to which the work progresses.  I am excited to start sharing new practices with you!  Yoga Therapy is for EVERY body…no experience, mobility or flexibility is required.  Do you have a body?  Does is get tight, sore or experience muscle discomfort?  Then this “work-in” is for you!

  Starting in May and running for the summer months, I am offering a new Chronic Pain Therapy package with 2 options.  The first consists of 3 Private Therapy Sessions & 3 Therapy Classes for $200.  The second is 1 Therapy Session & 3 Classes for $120.  The packages are both for Classes and Sessions for the month you choose.  Additionally, anyone can drop-in to the classes for $20, week to week as space allows.  Classes and Private Sessions are held at JET Wellness, 1094 Memorial Ave.  Classes will be 2:30-4pm and Private Therapy time slots to choose from each of the Sundays. Whether you choose 1 or 3 sessions, we will work together to create a home routine to relieve chronic muscle tension, pain and stress.  The weekly class is a great way to support your home practice and get review and assistance week to week. This package offering will be available for May, June or July.  

  The “Sunday Night Relax” Series will continue to run Sunday nights at JET Wellness, from 7-8:15pm.  Next series starts June 2ndand will run every Sunday until July 21st, (with the exception of June 30th).  The focus is on deep relaxation through Soma Yoga Therapy movements and an extended Yoga Nidra practice to end each class.  This 7 week series is $110, $80 for a 5-Class Pass, or $17 drop-in.  RSVP your spot by e-transfer by May 31st.  

***Current Sunday Night Relax series runs every Sunday, with the exception of the May Long Weekend, and currently has 4 drop-in spots available week to week.***

  For those finding themselves a little south of the city, Mink Mountain Yogareturns for a 9 Week Summer Series starting, today, May 1st!  It will run every week on Wednesday nights from 7-8:30 and with a therapeutic focus on relieving muscle tension, pain and relaxation.  Series is $150, $90 for a 5-Class Pass, or $20 drop-in.
